Figure Captions

EGRET sky exposure in units of cm s (E>100 MeV) for the Compton Gamma Ray Observatory Phase 1 (1991 April - 1992 November) and Phase 2 (1992 November - 1993 September). The contours are 2 x 10, 4 x 10, 6 x 10, 8 x 10, 10 x 10, and 12 x 10.

Maps of locations of four bright sources in this catalog. The contours represent the statistical probability that a single source lies within the given contour. In each map, the + marks the location of the highest likelihood test statistic. A * marks the location of objects seen at other wavelengths that may be related to the gamma-ray source.

Maps of locations of four sources in this catalog whose 95% error contours are not well represented by an ellipse. The contours represent the statistical probability that a single source lies within the given contour. In each map, the + marks the location of the highest likelihood test statistic. A * marks the location of objects seen at other wavelengths that may be related to the gamma-ray source.

Map showing upper limits for sources at any position in the sky, in units of photons(E>100 MeV) cm s, based on the EGRET summed Phase 1 + Phase 2 exposure. As noted in the text, upper limits within 1 of catalog sources should not be taken from this figure.

The second EGRET source catalog, shown in galactic coordinates. The size of the symbol represents the highest intensity seen for this source by EGRET.
