Photometric Reverberation Mapping of AGNs, z = 0.1 - 0.8*

*The reported study was funded by RFBR according to the research project № 18-32-00826.

The goal of the project is to determine characteristic sizes of the broad-line region in active galactic nuclei based on photometric reverberation mapping and to refine the dependence R(BLR)-λL(λ) (5100A). Until now, the majority of studies in this field considered the Local Universe (z~0.1). The novelty of this project is in using a sample to obtain and analyze homogeneous data in the redshift range of 0.1 to 0.8. An advantage of the galaxy sample is its availability for monitoring during the whole year.
We intend to:
a) carry out observations of galaxies in mid-band filters using one-meter telescopes;
b) develop software and determine the time lag for wide-emission-line light curves in regard to the continuum near the line;
c) improve the relation between luminosity and broad-line region sizes in AGNs up to z~0.8.
