It is NOT a "live" camera!
Here you can see copies of grabbed TV-frames from host sky.sao.ru or n2.sao.ru.
The grabber card is of
BT848/878
type with two TV inputs.
Hight-sensitive observational TV-cameras from BTA focuses are
connected to this input channels.
When observers utilize grabbed frames (e.g. accumulate them or
start autoguiding tool), the
special program
(originated from
webcam) convert every
resulting image to JPEG format and copy it to Web-site.
So you can see changes only during observation night and only in
one channel. At daytime you ordinary see the last image of the last night.
It is the main BTA control camera. It placed at fixed position inside BTA dome
and produce TV-signal for BTA operators monitor.
It is ordinary camera without any control but equipped with 130o
aspherical auto-iris lens .
Night sensitivity increased due to software averaging of grabbed TV-frames.
Our version of
webcam
program automatically chooses optimum number of this frames.
Special CCD camera with "Night Exposure" mode and improved sensitivity
in visible and infra-red spectrum. It automatically chooses optimal
accumulation time on CCD chip (up to 2/3 sec).
At night it working very nice, but unfortunately sometimes we have problems at daytime.
Camera equiped with alt-azimuth mount and remotely controlled by two axes.
BTA observers use it to look about weather and cloudiness.
